Approach:

 

Linda Noeske enjoys working with clients to assist them through a difficult period in their lives: separation and divorce.  Guided by common sense, fairness and a balanced approach, Linda strives to achieve a reasonable resolution for her clients while avoiding the cost and expense of adversarial litigation.  Linda offers her clients a wealth of legal experience, a thorough approach and an excellent results-oriented track record. 

 

Current Legal Practice:

 

Linda has been practicing family law since 1989.  As a Family Law Specialist certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, her focus is family law, including marital dissolution, child and spousal support, property division, custody, visitation, guardianships, stepparent adoptions, parentage actions and prevention of domestic violence.  As part of her family law practice, she was a founding member of the Peninsula Collaborative Family Law Group and has received extensive training in both collaborative law and mediation.  She is also a past member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP).

 

Bar Activities:

 

Linda is an active member of her local Bar Association and served for many years as a Director of the Bar Association Board of Directors and as Chair of the Women Lawyers Section.  Linda is a member of the Family Law Section and has served on the Bench and Bar Committee, San Mateo County Superior Court Children’s Waiting Room Committee, Client Relations Committee and Committee for Professional Equality.  She has served as an officer and director of the Women Lawyers Section Educational Foundation established to raise scholarship funds for deserving law students.

 

Volunteer and Community Activities:

 

Committed to pro bono and volunteer legal services, Linda has served as a volunteer attorney for Family Law Services of San Mateo County’s “Ask-A-Lawyer” program, as an Attorney Mentor for Community Overcoming Relationships Abuse (CORA), and as a volunteer attorney for the San Mateo County Legal Aide Society and the San Francisco Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal Services Program. 

 

Linda is currently a member of S.C. STARS group and PowerPartners. 

 

In her leisure time, Linda enjoys gardening, hiking, books and movies.

  • 2006 Recipient of "Elinor Flavey" award for outstanding service to women lawyers
  • Named Northern California - Super Lawyer 2009-present
  • Family Law Services recognized for outstanding volunteer contributions
