Kimberly Chu joined the firm in 2013. Kim graduated in 2012 from University of California Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.  As a law student, she interned at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office Civil Rights Division.  Kim completed a concentration in Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and was awarded CALI/WITKIN Awards for her academic performance in Negotiations and Settlement, and Mediation. She also worked as a Teaching Assistant for UC Hastings’ Legal Writing and Research Department.


After graduating from Hastings, Kim joined a civil litigation firm in San Francisco where her position was focused on business litigation. 


Kim is an alumnus of Stanford University where she earned her B.A. in Economics and Psychology Double Major, and her M.A. in Sociology with a focus in Social Stratification and Inequality. 


Current Legal Practice:


Since joining the firm, Kim has worked with the partners in our office to service both our private and public entity clients.  Kim currently serves as the Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Carlos; Deputy City Attorney for the City of Foster City; and Deputy Counsel for the Coastside Fire Protection District.


Bar Activities:


Kim is an active member in good standing of the California State Bar and San Mateo County Bar Association.  She is a member of the Barristers and Estate Planning Law Section.
